Hot Honey Buffalo Chicken Strips With A Blue Cheese Dip

Ingredients:
Blue Cheese Dip:- 70g blue cheese
- 1 cup (250ml) sour cream
- 3 Tbsp (45ml) mayonnaise
- 2 tsp (10ml) white wine vinegar
- ½ tsp (2.5ml) honey
- A pinch of garlic powder
- Salt
- Ground black pepper
- ½ cup (125ml) honey
- 3 Tbsp (45ml) hot sauce (e.g. Sriracha)
- 2 tsp (10ml) cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp (10ml) smoked paprika
- ½ tsp (2.5ml) onion powder
- ½ tsp (2.5ml) tsp garlic powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1 x County Fair Frozen Crumbed Strips
Method:
- Prepare the blue cheese dip: Place the blue cheese into a bowl and mash with a fork.
- Add the sour cream and mayonnaise, and mash more.
- Add the white wine vinegar, honey and garlic powder. Mix through.
- Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper.
- Spoon into a serving bowl and set aside.
- Prepare the hot honey buffalo chicken strips: Cook the chicken strips according to package instructions.
- While the chicken is cooking, make the hot honey sauce.
- Place the honey, hot sauce, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and salt in a saucepan. Whisk together over a medium heat until warmed through.
- Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the cooked chicken, and place the chicken pieces on a platter with the blue cheese dip on the side.
