Braai chicken like a pro
Our top tips to braai perfect chicken this summer.
- Start with a clean grill to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes to infuse flavour and moisten it.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat before adding the chicken.
- Baste the chicken with marinade or sauce during cooking to add flavour and keep it juicy.
- Use tongs to turn the chicken, rather than a fork, to avoid piercing the meat and losing juices.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after grilling to allow the juices to redistribute and keep it moist.
