Chicken burgers with chakalaka mayo

Delicious family pleaser – loved by all ages.
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Burgers:- 4 Goldi frozen crumbed chicken burgers
- oil for cooking *optional
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) chakalaka
- Juice of half a lemon
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
Method:
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and chakalaka. Set aside.
- Follow the instructions on the packaging to cook the Goldi frozen crumbed chicken burgers.
- Toast the burger buns lightly, if desired.
- Spread a generous amount of chakalaka mayo on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a lettuce leaf on top of the mayo, followed by a Goldi chicken burger.
- Top the burger with tomato slices and red onion slices.
- Spread more chakalaka mayo on the top half of the bun and place it on top of the burger.
- Serve the chicken burgers immediately with your favourite side dishes.
